Kate Preston Wins Lifetime Achievement Award
On Sat 2nd July 2016 Hair and Beauty salons from across the South Coast came together to celebrate all their hard work
The evening was held at Portsmouth Guildhall where all that attended wore their best outfits and sat waiting anxiously to see if they were 2016’s winners!
This year Kate Preston Hair & Beauty were nominated finalists for six categories including:
- Jenny Cornish – Apprentice of the Year
- Claire Rossiter – Gents Hairdresser of the Year
- Hair Salon of the Year
- Readers Choice of the Year
- Beverley Nicholson – Colour Technician of the year
- Kate Preston – Lifetime Achievement Award.
The talent within our industry is absolutely amazing and it’s so lovely to see other people within the industry talk about their successes and celebrate the evening with them. For 2016 the team at Kate Preston decided it would be lovely to vote Kate for Lifetime Achievement Award – everyone in the salon agreed that their truly isn’t a better boss than Kate! Our team is lucky enough to have support 24/7 and be rewarded for our hard work with lucky dips and courses to attend to continue our training within the industry.
Not only that but somehow in-between Kate has a busy family life and even still has time to run marathons and raise money for charities close to her heart. TV Presenter Gina Akers began reading out part of the nomination and we knew the winner would be Kate!
We are so happy to say Kate Preston won Lifetime Achievement Award 2016 she truly deserves it for all the hard work she continuously puts into our lovely salon!
