Hampshire Salon Jedi takes on the world
I have always found it such a privilege to be asked to go to wedding venues and do the Bridal Parties hair. When I was asked to travel to Antigua for a week to take part in a Bridal party of 6 wedding hair I knew it was something I had to do! Preparation for the wedding hair took a year, but with the results it shows that it was well worth it.
Gillian came to me in our Fareham based hair salon at least every four weeks. Each of these four weekly appointments involved getting Gillian’s colour perfect using Goldwell Topchic as the base colour and Goldwell Elumen Clear on the ends to make Gillians hair as sleek and glossy as possible.
In between these appointments we focused on the condition and density of Gillian’s hair. Every 6 months Gillian came to the salon to undergo our Kerasilk Treatment – this treatment provides a fabulous transformation into perfectly smooth-down and controlled hair. This process lasts up to 4 months, as well as working on the condition of the hair and enabling it to be more manageable it also reduces drying time of the hair which I knew would be perfect for Gillians busy schedule.
When Goldwell’s newest Kerasilk product launched I knew it was something I would need to do on Gillains hair. These newest products last 10 washes and work with the Intense 4 month treatment as a top up but can also be used on there own. There is a whole range including Colour, Control, Reconstruct and Repower, for Gillians I decided to use Control a week before the wedding. Gillian used the whole range of Shampoo, Conditioner and the Protective oil. On this same appointment Gillian had Micro-Ring Extensions placed into her hair fitted by Audrey.
After flying to Antigua I knew the whole process and been worth it the Kerasilk worked brilliantly on Gillians hair meaning the humidity didn’t have any adverse effects to her hair. I tackled a Bridal Party of 6 and it truly was a wonderful day.
